We had Progressive for a few years, and they were raping us in premiums. They were charging me like I had points on my license. Switched to Geico and saved over $1K on the premium.

I used to live in Phoenix. Was surprised to find out it has higher insurance rate than los angeles, too many cars get stolen. And, I have 4 points on my record, so I went uninsured, and drove very very carefully, always parked my car in garage.

I have 2 years no claims discount, pass plus certificate (extra qualification after passing coz I was 17) and I paid $2600 on a shitty little car in my first year of driving. Dropped by half the next year and now this year I am paying $1000 coz I am still a young driver!

Next year when I am 21 I get a bigger discount and will finally be able to have a powerful car!! Woohoo, can't wait till July!
