                      I disagree that WendyB did anything wrong (other then possibly arguing her point a tad too long).

                      Choker called people cheaters and thiefs for using a script that many of them did not know was stolen. Is it up to him to contact each and every person that is using the script to notify them of this? It would probably have been best, he probably could have made some good sales if he sent some friendly emails pointing out the issues. But just posting on his site that someone is a cheater when they had no idea what was going on is really lame. And that was essentially her beef, that Choker didn't contact her about it, OR post a different message on his site. No need to call people cheaters/thiefs over a script they didn't realize was stolen.

                      Now if the person continues to use it, and the evidence is there that it is stolen then posting that she is using a stolen script I think is fair, but some warning would have been appreciated by her and would have preempted this entire ordeal.

                              ya, It probably isn't in her best interest to continue using the script.


                              But if you back up and look at it from the viewpoint of someone who has never used Chokers script and doesn't visit these boards and bought CJ Overkill then things look different. What you have is the owner of a competiting script blacklisting their tgp because they Believe the script is stolen. But if it is stolen then why are they still allowed to sell it? I think it is a tough situation her to be in.

                              The ideal situation would be for Choker to go after the guy thru the proper channels and get his site taken down and/or sue him. But it doesn't look like he wants to do that, so what you have are the people who are using CJ Overkill looking at Choker and saying "Well if its stolen why don't you do something about it? And if you don't or can't do anything about it, then how illegal can this script be?".

                              So everyone has a different perspective on this situation, but from a business perspective I would suggest she stops using it, probably better in the long run. Atleast until everything gets sorted out.

                                              Total bollocks. The code is a VERY obvious direct rip for anyone with half a brain and 5 mins of programming experience. Amazes me why anyone would want to defend thieving scum.
