    Windows XP SP2 will block auto downloads and Active X!

    Q: Does your Web site start downloads that are not initiated by the user?

    A: File downloads are blocked in the following cases:

    * A Web site attempting to navigate to a resource.
    * Navigation that would result in the display of a file download dialog box.
    * A user not initiating navigation with a mouse click or key press.

    To correct this, make all downloads the result of a user-init

                                  Uh based on what I read on that site, Microsoft is only going to be blocking unsigned Active X controls.

                                  As long as it's signed with Microsoft Authenticode you will be just fine, otherwise there is no point in Active X controls.

                                  Also yes auto dialers are bad, but some of you guys are total morons if you think all active x controls are bad. Certified Active X controls are just fine.
