After doing business with Epoch for five years I finally decided to go up and see their office. Not only was I treated to a wonderful SUSHI lunch, I had the chance to see these guys at work.
I have been to a couple porn offices in my time but this was neither your typical office nor operation.
It began with some strange Mexican fella taking my keys to VALET parked the Greek Ferrari. I made my way into the office where I was searched by security and given a badge after being greeted by the male receptionist (the only down fall of the office.. you would have thought Epoch would have had some really hot model sitting at the front disk but instead a friendly fella.)
I was then welcomed into the Office by Jeff Southworth (a truly respectable individual) who gave me the full tour of the building.
You must imagine a room similar to that of the one in the movie boiler room, complete with a ticker on the wall showing the success rate of customer service calls for the day and how many have been answered within the average time. When I saw this I then realized why our chargebacks were so low.
Jeff then led me down the hall into the corporate wing of PayCom. Door after door after door each office very nicely decorated and stationed. These were not just empty rooms they had people inside working hard on making sure things go smoothly. I was then given the good looking girl tour by Jeff taking me by all the attractive WOMEN OF PAYCOM. This made me feel even better about where I send business. Well worth the two hour drive.
We then made our way into the TECHNICAL DEPT. Joel, Manish and some other fine fellas sat down and actually listened to what I wanted in the new reporting system. They actually sat there and took the time to brainstorm with me on how I could make more money or better manage my business with new tools that I requested. I would highly suggest everyone pick up the phone and or call these guys tomorrow and let them know what should be in the new reports so that everyone can benefit.
After concluding my tour and having my wonderful lunch I realized why our business has grown over the years. A processor needs to be run as a legit business and these guys have it down to a science. I would highly suggest everyone take a second and ask them self who their processor really is? These are the guys that cut your checks manage your members and ultimately your career.
