I have 2 tours with ARS/CHAMP and IMO they have far the best webmaster setup of all these AVS/AEN sites: especially if you are hoping to have other webmasters promote your stuff. BUT...

So far the trickle of traffic other webmasters are sending to my sites is very disappointing. Obviously that could be something I'm doing wrong, but considering how many webmasters promoted GIM/BYOT, the lack of activity on the CHAMP board does suggest that a lot have jumped ship. Dropping a program weeks before a replacement is ready, isn't going to inspire much confidence.

And everything is so sssssllllllllloooooowwwwwww over there. Two months into the program and despite a lot of promises, there are niches with little or no content (though in fairness plenty are well served). Reviews, even of updates and promo material, take days.

You have to wonder just how commited anyone at ARS is to the program. One guy at Option Mind was off for a week and another for 2 days. The result was that all communication via the board stopped and reviews/updates slowed even more. That comes across more like a shoestring operation than one which has some serious clout behind it.

DeluxePass (Adult Bouncer and AdultsAllowed too) all have similar programs. The review process at Adult Bouncer has to have been designed by the grandfather of all bureaucrats. It is confusing, poorly documented, doesn't seem to progress without prodding, etc. AB is also very restrictive about using either their hosting or their content for promos. On all these counts DP and AA come out well ahead, although all three have plenty of content and make sales.

With those three, although webmasters can promote your sites/tours, this aspect of their programs seems like a kind of afterthought. The facility exists and that's about it: you are basically on your own if you want to make use of it.

As someone else said, PornAccess has maybe the best all-round program of this type at present. The setup instructions are a bit vague, but the system is simple enough and they have Mon-Fri ICQ contact to talk you through. Everything moves very quickly and they at least have the bare bones of a central area for promoting your sites to other webmasters. Improvements to that are on the way and sales-wise, so far PA seems fine.

Then there is Jans Webring. Right now it is self-promo only (although that is supposed to change in a few weeks). The review process was easy, though slow (I was told "server maintenance" was going on every time I asked about delays). The available content was also very generic, although plentiful. Quite a few large TGPs promote Jans and my experience with them is extremely limited, so time will tell.

CHAMP may still turn out well, but so far I'm not optimistic. If I had to choose one program right now, it would be PornAccess.
