Never happened to me, but happened to my brother & sister-in-law when she was 8 months pregnant. He tried not to hit it but there was ice. They totalled the full front of the car & the deer didn't make it.

I've never hit anything driving.. I wont really drive highways at night though, so thats probably why.

Getting it wrong once is a spelling mistake or typo. Getting it wrong twice...you just can't spell

Honestly, if the deer got up, brushed himself off, and looked okay after totalling my car, He still wouldnt make it, cause I would chase him down on foot and bite his jugular in half like a lion in africa.

I smoked a deer once with the corner of a 2000 Camaro SS .. Fucking tank didn't skip a beat, Deer got tossed right out of the way. Stopped to make sure it was dead, and not suffering .. but it scampered off. Chances are it died.

The lady at the insurance company said in a cold tone "I hope you can PROVE you hit a Deer sir .. Otherwise your insurance will go up" ... Good thing I had deer hair embeded in the paint.

My ex-girlfriend seemed to have a problem with hitting deer, but I've never hit one myself. Came close once (like 6 inches from the drivers side mirror), but thats it. My fingers are crossed.
Hitting deer can be deadly.

Came super close once. When I went up to Cleveland, there was one right in the center lane of the highway. No idea how it got there. It didn't look like it had been hit, just looked like it had dropped dead right in the middle (there were no cars off to the side either). I swurved and missed it though...yah!!! But it was sooooo huge, it took up the whole lane!
