Back in 2001 we tried doing a weekly PDX webmaster gathering. The turn out was OK but nothing every really got accomplished. People seemed afraid to talk about what they were doing or something.
SexToyKing Todd lives less than 15 minutes from me yet we have never met. Talked about getting together a few times but then nothing ever happens.
As far as I know....Only 3 people from that group are still active in the biz and I'm not sure how active 2 of them really are these days.
This is yet another reason that I hate Portland. Personally, I like to hang out with people who have similar interests and goals as myself and I find that non-porn people are a bit too judgemental.
