yea i was pretty excited when i first got my gamecube too! after about a week it began collecting dust, only to be occassionaly used to play the rehashed nintendo first party titles. sorry 2 say, but you just threw your money away.

We have all three, and personally I still like the PS2.. I guess I like the controller better.. it's easier for my to play with my small hands and fingers.. I love the games on xbox too... I never took much of a fancy to gamecube

i bought mine solely to wait for mario kart to come out,

when gamecube first was out it BLEW but now some of their more solid titles from the past r out, and im glad i bought it.

PS2 games are not my fancy to japan style to the games.
Xbox is good but i like the style of game cube games. more cartoony and their classic characters cant be beat.

I wouldn't even waste $100 on it, since they seem to be winding things down. They've already stopped production to get rid of their huge stockpile of units sitting in warehouses, and some big companies like Akklaim have said they aren't making anymore games for it. Plus the fact that they have no intentions of pushing online games anymore makes it a real stinker.

I was playing SlugFest the other night on PS2 and it was taking FOREVER to load..then played it the next night on GameCube and it would only take a second..and the graphics even looked more realistic.

I play multiplayer PC most of the time, but I was kind of impressed with the GameCube. XBox is probably my favorite though...

All I can say to the gamecube haters is don't knock it until you've tried it. There are tons of awesome games that my friends have played for 6+ hours straight. "Made for kids"? who fucking cares, the games are fun as hell. And the wavebird wireless controllers kick ass!
