an 18 year old with 150k is wealthier than a 50 year old with 2 million.
you are very wrong....you assume that one keeps on WORKING all years 'till death, which brings LOTS of unknowns about the future income you put into concideration,
wrong logical assumptions from get go on your part.
here is my definition of wealth:
one can quit working and live of the wealth.
the younger you are, the more you need in the bank scott free to afford it.
I at 45 need MORE than one at 65,
given the same life expectancy.
do you follow my logic and lack of logic on your part?

Being able to retire "right now" can be considered wealthy too.
But I'm talking about someone with motivation and someone who gets to enjoy everything at every age and keep making more, that man is truely wealthy.
If I'm 65 with 2 mill and was eating top ramen when I was 24 and working at wendy's, and made it big (the 2 mill) when I was 50, I'm not as wealthy as a 22 year old with 200k. Like I said, this is MY definition.

you have one wrong definition, son, and I am trying to make you see the light EARLY in life before it's too late.
If you beleive I am on "Mission Impossible" mission,
tell me so and I'll stop, as I don't profit or lose from YOUR mistakes.

I wouldn't say mission impossible, but you'd have a pretty hard time convincing me that any man who has a couple million now and lived like pure shit in the prime of their life are truely wealthy. Sure, they can retire and play golf and not worry about the mortgage, but did they get to enjoy the $ when they were young? No.
Security and being able to retire is a very good thing, but $ with being young and the ambition to make more money for ages to come is a wealthy person imho.
If I was a 50 year old millionaire, I'd trade it all for another chance at being 18 with 50 g's to work with.

you would and I wouldn't.....and unlike you,
I've been in both shoes, yours and "50 years old")
because:
A Time for Everything
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?
10 ¶ I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.
14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
read it A to Z and try UNDERSTAND what each passage MEANS...
Most 18yr olds wouldn't know what to do with the expensive toys and responsibilities that money brings, and would lose them rather quickly.
At least when you're 50 you can appreciate things more and you're not in such a hurry to get to the next "big" thing.
There are more important things in life but you don't know what they are at 18.
Besides, you act as if 50 is old, feeble, pissing in a diaper with angry nurses attending to you. Not so - and you're selling yourself far too short if you think that's what life will be like then. You'll be nearly as fit as you are now if you take care of yourself, but your mind will be much broader.

All things get better with age.
Carrie, excelelnt observation, I wouldn'tr say it better mysel,
she has an excelelnt point, grogan, but ti takes some maturity to see it
;-)))
Serge, I read your post, not convincing, my theory is sound.
Thanks though.
ok, live your life the way you believe from the positions of teenager, your theory is a paramount of them all, you don't have to learn anything new and one day when you sit firmly on the ass on the sidewalk,
just remember me and that I told you so
;-)))
As your assistant, I must have health benefits. I'm old and wheel-chair bound. I must be given the authority to BAN all hackers and hacker sympathizers.
And Serge, you must get my *confucy* name back on GFY. I am stuck with microchick and gooeycandy. Lensman ignores my cry for help.

confucy, reinstating your name will be my FIRST GFY MODERATOR priority. I can't grant you "ban hacking privileges" though, I hack inside MORONs heads ALL THE TIME myself, you'd ban ME first!
;-)))
Serge, one more request. I want twice the amount you are paying Gonzo. I, in turn, will bring Seth, Cohen, Kremen, and all the biggies to Oprano/GFY. Kremen does show up now and then on GFY, but I will get a very personal story from him.

I didn't realize Gonzo was on the "Serge" payroll ...
interesting ...
The most controversial aspect of sex - is the truth.

jDoG
45% that's a VERY impressive showing, concidering that 80% of GFY are morons...don't tell me that there is only 45% of morons on GFY,
NOBODY would beleive you
;-)))
plus...running the business is NOT a popularity contest

confucy, I happen to know Kremen's story even MORE than Kremen knows it himself,
I was the one who helped to dig him out from obscurity in the first place
;-)))
Cohen calls him everyday and appeals to his "goodness of your heart", Seth enjoys life and Kman is seeing him on the daily basis...
offer me something I can't get myself with MUCH less efforts than "double gonzo"

roflmao ...
you can't beat my ban record ... multiple adult webmaster boards - on GFY I think is 86% or something like that ...
sexeducation, I doubt if Gonzo will last long. You know how the boards are...they want people who post a lot, and they will pay per post. I can't imagine Gonzo doing anything but throwing out his ignorance on a board per post. He is a nothing! Nothing people have nothing to say!

confucy, you are bitter because he drove you out of Oprano
Maybe so, Serge, but I don't see those people posting on Oprano. Has Larry Flynt ever posted on Oprano? Hugh Hefner? How about A-S-H-C-R-O-F-T? How about Asia Carerra? If people come to see an old know-nothing lying hacker, I guarantee you people would rush to Oprano for people who have contributed to porn.
