i believe there is more to it than that. maybe i'm wrong - but the reason i think this place got so huge, was luck. there was around 10 posters who kept this board going the first 18 months. if it was just idiots, you can look at a 100+ boards that do that just. and are not huge.we'll miss you our friend. At the time what were the other big boards? The fact that you could get away with talking jibberish and slinging your own shit like a chimp made this place popular real quick. Yeah, same topic. My advisor is a maniac and loves the subject. I am not working on it right now, I am in the middle of a bunch of courses on delinquency/deviance, popular culture, and the justice system. Which coincidentally is going to fulfill requirements for a BS in Criminal Justice. So at the same time I am gathering up theory that I will have to incorporate into the thesis, I get a free degree. Bonus. That and I was introduced to the work of a Marxist philosopher that has really changed the way I am going to approach the subject.
