The museums, particularly the Van Gogh museum, are far more enjoyable when you are wasted.

They arent all that anymore...when they still were illegal they were also much stronger. Now with the mass production the quality seems to have decreased.

Well, the good thing with the mushrooms is that you can eat a little, wait, see what happens and eat some more.

Acid, you drop it and it either goes good or bad. If its bad, youre fucked.

I did some mushrooms a few months ago and it was ok..nothing too heavy, just a nice buzz.

You will enjoy the mushrooms much more than acid... and tripping in Amsterdam is like nothing else. It's complete fucking freak show... you'll love it. And yeah, the great thing about mushrooms is if you want it to get more intense just eat some more. Each bag comes with instructions and a description of the sort of trip you can expect (i.e. highly visual, introspective, happy etc)

Do they ever come labelled "feel like you're having a heart attack and have trouble breathing"?

Had that happen to me once and I haven't touched the things since. Only tried them a few times before that and never had a problem though.
