CONTEST : $250 for a non adult website design

Dear GFY designers,

I need a good design for www.funnyforwards.com

What I need for the main page :

1) a logo / nice title for funnyforwards.com

2) 2 columns like the way it is right now for the content. The partners will be listed between the 2 columns.

What I need for the content pages :

same kind of look and feel than for the main page

I need something that looks good. Be creative.

Payment will be done with PayPal.com

I have no clear deadline for the contest end. Let's see how it goes.

too much work involved in to a complete website,

plus $250 is a price of a logo only. I don't think you'll get a high response to the thread.

For $500 I could take on the project and tweak the original design until you're completely satisfied.

?? Most designers only charge $250 or so for a nice AVS site, you think this site has more involved then an avs site? It was a pretty simple easy design, only took me 20 minutes or so.

I've already had a complete adult site design done from one GFY deigner for $300. It was not a contest I admit.

Thanks for your submission InsaneMidget but I need something of a higher quality.

No offence but that site is "drop dead ugly", it's just a typical bevel/emboss design site, good luck with your contest.

Do you really think that Drop Dead Ugly is a better looking design than any of the entries displayed here? Drop Dead Ugly looks like something I would have designed the very first day I opened Paint Shop Pro 6 years ago. And now that I've moved on to Photoshop I don't even know that I'd be able to design something that ugly if I tried!

I only spent 10 minutes on my entry. I figured if you liked that Ugly site better than Insane Midget's entry that spending more time on it would make it look too good.

I honestly don't mean to insult you. I guess your taste in design just confuses me, so I apologize if I offend you. (No, I'm not being sarcastic, either.)

Tootie, Dropdeadugly is all about uglyness so the design is ugly

But it looks better IMHO.

mmm... I couldn't enter this contest because I cannot get paid via Paypal, but maybe the mistake here was taking 10 or 20 minutes for a design. Even when all the designs posted were above the level of the dropdeadugly example, none of them worth 250. And sorry, I'm always the first to jump when these so called "contests" looking for a paysite for 20 dollars shows up, but 250 for a simple, 2 columns single page is more than enough IMHO. Plus, the guy even paid all the people who worked

Of course for $250 I wanted something that looked great and not a simple table with some text in it.

I reread my first post and I realize that it was a little bit misleading. I was in a hurry ...

And the example I gave was not very good I admit.

I didn't want of course something like the current design (can this be called a design btw ?)

With the current design, you just got an idea where I wanted to see the content placed.

AkiraSS, unfortunately I don't have epassporte. Maybe if you have a friend with both Paypal and epassporte, we can arrange something.
