Couple weeks back I received notice from the owners of my apartment complex that they were kicking us out and turning everything into condos. Terrible timing, but oh well, we had until Christmas to move out.
I was planning on buying a place next summer, but after talking with a few people I figured I might as well just buy now. Was a little nervous about the time frame involved, so we kept shopping for houses to rent.
Finally found a pretty nice house by the mountains in San Carlos (suberb of San Diego). It's an actual house instead of some crappy place like most I've seen out here. Figured I could live in a rental for the next 6-12 months until I find something I WANT (instead of NEED) to buy, so we filled out the applications and sent them in.
Met with the management company yesterday and we're in! Sweet! Now the joy of moving, blech.
