I think I can do much much better than my current entries. But there's no accounting for taste. Additionally...why spend and hour trying to make a logo that may or may not get chosen, that may or may not make you $100 when I can spend that hour on a project I know will make money.
Contests like these, for the most part, get quite a few amateur entries a decent entry or two. And then someguy comes outa left field with the most bizarre piece of shit, and he takes it...and everyone is left with a big time debt.
After the very first one I entered I decided that between following the thread, creating entries, and trying to get payment. I'm better off mowing lawns.
So I have 3 hours devoted to contests a month...
