Great Cover Songs
So, I'm sitting here watching the repeat of Headbanger's Ball and they;re playing the kickass Murderdolls cover of "White Wedding" and I was thinking of some of the great cover songs.
Some of my favorites are:
Motley Crue -- "Helter Skelter"
Less Than Jake -- "The Reflex"
Metallica -- "Whiskey In The Jar"
Motorhead -- "Cat Scratch Fever"
Slayer -- "Richard Hung Himself"
My old band The CorpsePhuckers used to do a bitchin' cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring Of Fire" and an extreme thrash version of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"

Worst cover? Torri Amos massacring Slayer's classic "Raining Blood" yikes, not even campy fun in the Alien Ant Farm cover of "Smooth Criminal" vain......
