Fucking idiots

I am ready to kill a mother fucker.

Why is it that when a friend has the stupidity to totally fuck up their own computer they call me to tell them WTF to do? They install everything under the sun and then tell you that they have not done anything.

I am on the phone with a guy RIGHT NOW who has alarms going off and popups like crazy. I can hear this shit in the background and it is driving me crazy. To top this off, the fucker is too stupid to own a computer in the first place...obviously....And when I walk him through something, he still can not figure it out.

I have worked in tech support before and have NEVER had anybody this fucking stupid call for support.

God damn I am frustrated.

So....among other things, I have this guy install ad-aware. I sent him the fucking download link and he still took 10 minutes to figure it out. Every time a message pops up he has to reed me the entire thing and then tell me there is one button at the bottom and it says "OK" Then he has the stupidity to ask me what to do next.

If this person had not been such a major personal help to me in the past, I would not put up with this bullshit.

Some morons simply should not own a computer.

Then you find out that they already downloaded the shit but they did not want to admit it to you.

This fucker has porn pop ups like crazy. He knows the business I am in and yet he still tries to tell me that he did not visit porn sites. He blames it on somebody else. Like his dog or his girlfriend are the guilty ones here.

My cousin, brothers and most of my friends have nicknamed me "tech support".

It's funny in a way, but I spent 5 hours on the phone with my cousin yesterday because he visited some site or installed some program that loaded his computer up with toolbars, popups and more.

Finally got him so he was able to download and run spybot S&D and that still didn't even clean it all up.

Oh boy, just saw on the evening news that MS found 4 new exploits for windoz.... guess that means more calls from my cousin soon...

the first thing i tell people going online for the first time - do NOT install the software that aol or earthlink or whoever sends you. you absofuckinglutely don't need it.

second thing - when something asks you anything online, say no if you don't understand what it means.

my friend got his first computer. he said he understood what i was telling him. a week later when his computer took a dump, he not only had installed every fucking thing that earthlink gave him, he had apparently downloaded every motherfucking thing on the internet.

argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

two months later, he's an "expert" who helps his friends by reformatting when they have dialers that he can't figure out how to delete or other such things. he wipes out everything they have ever written, saved or done because he cannot figure out how to delete stuff that i can get rid of in like 1 minute.

some people really shouldn't have computers
