    US Army faked letters to parents from 'sons' filling them with the Armys version of events.

                              Too dumb to write a letter but smart enough to get into the army.

                              But then again, would the military really want a smart well informed inquisitive fighting force? They dont want questions askers, they want robots.

                              That is why they strip you down in boot camp and rebuild you into what they want. Because they know anyone with any shred of common sense and an iq higher than 70 does not think getting your ass shot off in some foreign jungle because some old white guy with a "bible" tells you to, is a good idea.

                              On second thought, good population control. It is like state sanctioned eugenics.
