    Is it possible to buy an expiring domain even if it has been backordered?

    Basically, there is a domain that is potentially valuable that is languishing under it's current owner.

    I want the domain, but someone has already backordered it at snapnames.

    Is there any other way for me to get control of the domain?

                      I used snap names on a domain I was trying to get a few months back and they didnt get it. I used them one other time and they were successful but that was probably two years ago and it was before they had any competition.
