A lot of fucking idiots around here. Yesterday everyone was outraged because Pedro Martinez pushed down an old man who was attacking him on the mound but today everyone thinks it's hilarious that an ape in a uniform suckerpunched some poor motherfucker out. Yeah, that takes balls. Hit someone from behind six inches of padding and a helmet. Then, with absolutely no evidence to support it, you all start this "he had it coming" and "he said something" bullshit.
Grow up. The player is a punk and an asshole. Remember good sportsmanship? It doesn't include assaulting fans.

The field is for the players. PERIOD ! Who knows what the guy said or did not say........A few people already passed the nebraska player that he did not hit. If you look at the video, the blonde guy behind him almost tripped on him. He was looking straight ahead with everyon else...Notice how the guy who got ROCKED has his head turned toward the player. He probably said something. Thats what drunk , over zealous college kids do. Fans should never come on the field talking shit. Disrespecting the MEN who practice a lifetime to play at such a high level, is very unsportsman like. These are the same players who honor your team for a well played contest. Instead cheer them for a hard fought battle, and say see you next year.

SCJason. I agree there without a doubt. The field is for the players. Those fans should not have been out there period. However that player was not attacked by the fan. He didn't have to defend himself. If he is going to be a true pro he best learn to control his temper. He still shouldn't have hit him regardless of what he said. Its called self control.
He is not a MAN as you say if he lacks the self control. Hes just another college kid that happens to be a fucking Jock. Let the authorities deal with the fans. Don't take it in your own hands and sucker punch them. They got lucky enough fans didnt see that and start a riot. Football pads or not they were out numbered out there and it would have gotten ugly.
