Nick Berg - Moussaui Connection.

For those who don't know what I'm speaking about.

Nicholas Berg is the guy who was decapitated on the video in Iraq.

He was investigated by the FBI over a year ago regarding Zacharias Moussaui (the guy in jail for conspiring to be part of the hijackings).

Berg was going to school in Oklahoma, Moussaui was going to flight school nearby.

Berg gave some guys his password to his email, and it somehow ended up in Moussaui's hands.

All a bit too coincidental?

Huh?

Haven't heard anything about this..

O'BRIEN: Now more on the twists in the story of the American Nicholas Berg. As we mentioned, government sources tell CNN that there was a tangential relationship between Berg and accused terrorist Zacharias Moussaui.

CNN justice correspondent Kelli Arena now with details.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KELLI ARENA, JUSTICE CORRESPONDENT: The ties between Nicholas Berg and Zacharias Moussaui, the only person charged in the U.S. in connection to 9/11, trace back to Oklahoma. MICHAEL BERG, FATHER OF NICHOLAS BERG: Nick went to Oklahoma University and he was taking a course at the remote campus and you're on a bus -- that remote campus was near the airport where some terrorist people who no one knew were terrorists at the time.

They were just fellow students -- were also taking that bus, and someone asked him how they -- how they -- asked him basically to let them use his computer and he did.

ARENA: U.S. officials say Berg shared his computer and his password with one individual, and that password somehow ended up in Moussaui's possession.

BERG: It turned out that this guy was a terrorist and that he -- you know -- used my son's e-mail, amongst many other people's e-mail, who he did the same thing to.

ARENA: The FBI tracked down Berg, and his father said his son cooperated fully.

Michael Berg said the incident happened several years ago. Moussaui took flight lessons in Oklahoma in 2001.

It's a curious twist, and some suggest a possible reason the FBI felt compelled to interview Berg three times in Iraq before clearing him for release.

You are right...it has been discussed. The Attorney General also spoke to the matter...saying that Nick Berg had been cleared by the FBI...in the matter.

he actually let a terrorist use his password for his email, and to log in and send an email using his computer.

The FBI...cared...or they would not have interviewed him...and would have arrested him...if he would have been connected to any terrorists. You fucking conspiracy fruitcakes are really out in space. FYI...I am not a fan of the President...thank you very much.

The use of the plural "terrorists" is why I asked the question using the quote "terrorists". I have read a different article that said Berg allowed a fellow student...that he casually knew...use his laptop and provided him with his password. The truth is...without personally reading the FBI interview...we "John Q Public) will not know the truth...about what Berg said he did...but we do know that the FBI cleared him of being connected to any "terrorists"...or at the least did not arrest him...for his "connection" to Moussaoui.

go figure, theking can only argue plural semantics.

Doesn't matter...he was still connected at some point.

Here it is a year or two later and this guy Berg is walking around freely through Iraq..is detained by the US governement who sends a letter to his family saying so...they now claim the official was mistaken *LOL*, and then release him and the next thing you know his dead body is found and a video makes it's way across the internet showing him being decapitated.

Oh but I'm just a conspiracy fruitcake.

If this were a crime being investigated you know damn well that would be an avenue that would be revisited

I think that an extraordinary claim...requires extraordinary proof...and in the Berg case there is not any proof...at all at this point...that I am aware of...that would indicate anything other than "coincidence".
