According to the write-ups its easy to use (yeah right) but I'll get there in the end, once you know how to use it properly you have a pretty good idea what it is you've found before you even start to dig it up (a unique feature of the gti 2500)

I can't wait to go camping with it and find stacks of buried roman hoards

I thought about getting one with a waterproof head but decided that digging whilst up to my knees in water would not be much fun

I saw a completely submersible one for scuba diving and it was less than £300 new, if you can get one from the USA they are a lot cheaper there.

Next year I'm off camping round some old druid stone circles, picking mushrooms and tecting at the same time is gonna be fun
