    Permanently disable sound in flash?

It seems to have become very important for me to hear a loop of everyone's favorite song , that I actually have the text of every nav button narrated to me on mouseover by some stupid robot , and that I should hear a fully voice enhanced introduction to every website I visit... and all at twice the volume of the track I was already bumping over my loud ass Klipsch speakers... and I am about to fuckin murder the webmaster of the next site I come accross who has been so thoughtful.

So, does anyone know if it's possible to permanently disable sound in the flash plugin (ie6) or at least keep it from autoplaying? I'd hate to have to go back to the stoneages and uninstall the shit but thats what it's come down to.

For now I have ie prompt me before it will allow any flash file to play which is only slightly more tolerable. I can't believe disabling sound is not an option...
