get snipemonkey or some other ebay sniping software if you can not manually snipe ya should wait till there is little time then hit submit at last minute and wam ge it manually but sniping programs work good to sometimes

http://esnipe.com ROCKS, I've been using it for years !!! It's ultra cheap, you pay like 1% of the total bid IF ya win, if you lose, you don't pay anything, you can't beat that. It's really worth it if it's gonna help you keep the bidding low. Some people complain about using snipe sites, however I think that it helps things because usually I forget to bid on auctions or they end like at 3am in the morning, so it helps me to get my bid in and raise up the price of an item for the seller.
They also give ya a FREE 14 day trial

One other thing that I forgot to mention is that they also have "Bid Groups" now, so is there's 5 auctions of the same item and you only wanna pay $50 for an item, you can have Esnipe bid on each auction until it wins the item, if it doesn't win the first one for $50, it'll wait for the next one to come up and bid $50. Once it wins one of those auctions, it'll stop bidding on the rest of them, that's a kick ass feature
