I have both....I play with both, but I sure do like playing with ps2 better...
Reason being, is that the damn xbox has to many damn buttons.
I like both, but if I had to choose between the 2, then it would be PS2...
Both have great games, but I like the controller and game play better on ps2...
You have to give props to Sony....the original playstation was the shit, and they really did great with ps2..

Most Americans I've spoken to go for xbox... a result of Microsoft advertising and review sites/magazines refusing to give Microsoft products a bad review, for fear of losing advertising revenue? There are very few xbox ads over here, and PS2 is enormously popular.

I'm playing through Final Fantasy X for the second time. I've never done that with any other RPG. I loaded it up after I moved to Vegas and discovered I had the wrong memory card in there so instead of putting the right one in, I just started the whole game over. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is enough all by itself to make me pick the Playstation 2. That game is amazing.
Everyone who picks XBox says the same thing over and over: "Better graphics! More power! Better graphics! More power!" So what? My friend has one and I don't care for it at all. Shitty games, shitty controller, no fun. If the XBox had something really incredible going for it the way Playstation has the Final Fantasy series, I'd buy one. All the XBox really has, though, is a nearly unlimited marketing budget and no real benefits.

If you don't like the standard controller that came with it (I didn't either) then get a Madcatz controller. They come in a variety of sizes, one that's even perfectly sized for my 5 yr old's hands.Comment

Both systems have their advantages. I personally don't like the original X-Box controller but the smaller one is awesome. I think I would die without Halo, I love to play Halo with a bunch of friends. I also like alot of games on the GameCube as well as the PS2.
