I've just finished watching Brad Shaw's interview on Mike AI's Pure Cash TV.
Allegation 1. Steve is bad for the industry because he uses girls that "look" underage.
Steve knows how to make money. He creates high-quality sites that people like. He gives lots of content to webmasters for them to promote the services and most importantly, he treats these girls well.
I know certain people in this business who shoot scene after scene of a girl for a couple of weeks, obtain a years worth of updates and call it a day. Steve keeps these girls on payroll for the life of the site unless something goes terribly wrong.
The girls are 18 and that is currently what the law says they have to be. Why is he being punished because the girls are cute and sell memberships?
Allegation 2. Steve is an idiot.
First, refer to allegation 1's response. Webmasters who promote Lightspeed have always made money.
Considering that his program is a "revenue sharing" program I have to assume he does pretty well too.
He's created a strong consumer brand as well as a strong webmaster brand.
I can think of a lot of idiots in this business and Steve isn't one of them.
