Those magazines are awful. Everytime I even open one up, I get told I'm too fat, too ugly, my hair is out of date, I wear the wrong makeup, and my clothes aren't sexy. And that's from the articles, not the ads!

And the articles just reinforce the myth(?) that women are weak, stupid, ditzy, and otherwise incapable of fending for themselves. Arg.
