Actually, since most of the world runs Apache webservers, and Apache & Apache modules are written in C, I'd say having a stellar knowledge of the C programming language is pretty good. Don't think this industry needs for client-side programmers. I also know Java, C/C++, 2(!) Assemblers (i80x86 and Z80), as well as a few of less famous programming languages, however I didn't find anything in the adult business where I can implement my skills.
