It takes alot of practice. I usually just fly over a base and bail out with my parachute. I'm not skilled enough to have a dogfight with anyone, but I am deadly with tanks.

Good playing last night, Gateway, MrPheer, Armed & Hammered, couple other people showed up. So, was that REALLY Lensman or someone else playing with that name?
Couple people asked for tips on flying, most important thing I think is a joystick. You can fly with the mouse, but it's really tricky. The second most important thing is practice, and lots of it. Once you get good at the jets, start on the helo's. Being able to hover at a flag to get it is an important skill. Landing helo's is a lot easier if you do it like an airplane, and have a forward roll to the landing, rather than trying a straight down landing.
