After beating New Jersey easily in the first two games, the Pistons fell asleep and lost three straight. On the verge of elimination the Pistons fought back from an early first quarter deficit in Game 6 and beat the Nets 81-75. In that game the Pistons decided to play some defense and they held the Nets to under 40% shooting from the floor. They also out rebounded New Jersey for the first time since Game 2.
Detroit's game is defense and we look for the Wallace boys to take control of the defensive end and the boards. We also look for Rasheed to score some points tonight which should open it up outside. We also like the fact that in the NBA Playoffs home teams with a total of 170 or less points and went under in their last game are 14-5 ATS. New Jersey blew their chance the other night, it's all Pistons tonight.
