You had to remind me didn't you?
I LOVE Krystal burgers (like White Castle) but since we moved to another state I haven't had any in almost two years. The other day my husband went to the nearest Krystal for me, over 130 miles away... and they were CLOSED FOR REMODELLING for ONE WEEK. Can you believe it? The one time we can get them in TWO YEARS and the fuckers are closed.
And no, he didn't drive all that way just to get burgers. LOL He was taking his dad to see his sister about some money she stole from him. But it would be a 260 mile round trip to get them if we went back again, and with gas prices the way they are that is NOT going to happen.
They sell Krystal and White Castle burgers frozen at the grocery store but they don't have onions or pickles on them and those are what really make them good. And regular onions and pickles just don't taste the same on them. Plus, the buns get tough edges in the microwave.
