I just called, they said they're having router problems with one of their backbone providers. They dont know when the network will be back to normal, but they are in contact with their provider and are waiting for them to fix the problem.
all three of my sites are down too. Here's hoping Candid has good luck in getting it resolved soon...

All techsupport can say is, well, we've notified our upstream provider, outage is bigger than expected, but they're working on it.
They have no idea when the network will be back up. Very disappointing.
Thats just not the case...
Please contact me via ICQ, as I requested for the quickest, fastest, and most accurate updates...Ive posted here everytime I had new information, and will continue to do so until this situation is over.
i just talked to mike from candid support. basically he says that it will take up to another hour to move all the sites to the other bandwidth. anyone know if having it take this long is reasonable?
Update coming in 5-10 minutes on the issue at hand...
Thanks for your time and patience...although some of you have little left...Ive tried to keep you as well informed as I could during this attack...and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.
Originally posted by basschick some of our domains are back, but the one with all my fucking galleries is still down. is candid doing this by hand?
what happened to an update in 5 to 10 minutes?
Ok Folks...(sorry for the delay in the 5-10 min post time)
Everything is either already back up or on its way back up right now. If your still down when you read this message, ICQ me or call the NOC and we will get you back online asap.
The DDOS attack that we experienced tonight was very deliberate, eminating from several pcs, Peaking at 1.2 GBPS and a whopping 900,000 packets. Everything was done and used at our disposal to make sure that the attacks, which were nullfied and re-appeared during a period of around 1.5 hours, were contained as quickly as possible. As stated before everything is back online, and running smoothly.
Any questions further please email me, contact me via ICQ, or post here and I'll reply.
Sorry for the inconvenience, the delays, and most importantly the downtime.
I know alot of you are still waiting to hear back from Sky Net CSM-101 but if I can help with an answer or to expedite a reboot hit me up and we will get this process moving a bit quicker between the two of us!
