Best thing i ever did,
It was great experience and it helped me get the good jobs when i got out without having any experience.
I was taking advantage of the GI Bill also, they was paying me like 1k a month to goto school and it only cost me like 2k for the whole semester so i got to pocket the rest.
btw, you'd have a higher chance getting killed in a car accident then getting killed in combat.
the military has over 300 jobs in each branch. less than 10% of the jobs are combat armsComment

from my experience getting in the military at 18 is just like going to college with real world experience.
