True... for sure. But you're far to extreme. Wishing all the US soldiers get killed in Iraq is just wrong.

And asking now why the US troops are there isn't any better. They are there if it was for oil or not. No way to change that anymore. Instead of nuking and bombing, assassinations and ambushes what about some creative suggestions how to help both parties.

I can fully understand the Iraq people. They just believe to defend themselfs. Everyone would do that. Especially our freedom and weapon loving american friends. If some guy would sneak into their houses at night they'd make mash out of the intruders. Same as in Iraq. Noone believes there anymore that US guys bring freedom. And that's one of the biggest problems.

Getting rid of Saddam was a good idea in my opinion. He's one sick bastard. But killing thousands of people for that purpose isn't that nice. And treating POWs the same way as Saddam did makes the last reason for invading Iraq somehow ridiculous.

I have no clue how to sort out the mess. But it for sure would be a good start if the US troops would act exemplary and not like to old regime. If they act as invaders then they get treated exactly like this.

After reading most of the POW abuse threads I've lost a lot of respect for some guys here. I don't know if some are just plain stupid or if they get money for what they write. And I mean both extreme sides with that. The ones shouting 'US haters, nuke Iraq' and the ones wishing death to all US troops.

The US may not always have done cool things. They may have made a lot of mistakes in the past. however it's funny to hear that from the side who's doing nothing at all but complaining. Sure they won't make mistakes if they just sit on their fat butts.

So all the bitching has no sense. The situation is difficult and only with some good diplomacy it can get solved. I just hope that all the killing has an end soon.
