simple, this is not a travesty because:

1) the people are the government last time I checked

You don't get it. Recalls have been tried lots of times against governors in CA. This is the ONLY time it actually worked. Why? Davis' complete ineptitude. The dems will probably start a recall against Arnold next week. Will it work? No way in hell.

The final straw was the auto registration. People with new cars were paying an average of $1,000/year to help bail out Davis' mistakes. It wasn't hard to get 1.2 million verified signatures when the Gov't is trying to rape its citizens. I'd take someone like Arnold any day over a proven idiot with a horrendous track record like Davis.
