Should a program webmaster via a THIRD PARTY biller be able to see home addr and SSN?

    Should a program webmaster via a THIRD PARTY biller be able to see home addr and SSN?

    I was surprised to see that the new interface for a particular third party biller includes full details about my affiliates...

    - full name
    - SSN
    - password
    - phone
    - email
    - address

    As a program webmaster do I really need to see so much detail? I'm not the one sending the payments...

    What do other third party billers show their program webmasters?

          I think absolutely.. Remember, the program is on the hook for any liability you create while promoting them. You have to view the program as being a trusted sponsor with a presumption of innocence. If you don't think that they're honest, you probably shouldn't send traffic to them

          Besides which, SSN is needed in case they are going to pay you directly at any point for a 1099 form.

              As an affiliate, I'd like sponsors to have all my contact information. I'd also like them to use it if there's a problem. My bitch is signing up for a sponsor and finding out they have a hotmail contact address.
