I kinda look at it like two lines on a graph... at the beginning, my annoyance factor is low and my desire factor is high. Over time the desire drops and the annoyance factor rises. When the two meet, it's done.

The trick is finding a chick where the annoyance factor never rises enough to go over the desire factor.
