I'm shocked this thread hasn't gotten more attention. This is really big news. I know there are a lot of adult merchants out there who were processing through Ipayment.

We may be able to help. We can usually place US high-risk internet merchants with merchant accounts in less than 5 business days. You can get in touch with me at

My girl got it from an email she recieved from ipayment saying she has 30 days to find a new processor then they are shutting her off. I will see if I can get the full email in complete detail for you.

in the meantime I have 30 days to set her up with a new merchant account that wont cost 2 grand to setup.

any ideas out there in GFY land?

The merchant accounts that we open do not cost 2 grand. Please see my post above.

                  Hi,

All adult (5967) merchant accounts MUST be approved by Visa and Mastercard which include paying the registration fees of $1500. There is no way around it legally.

We had a phone meeting with Ipayments this morning and it is not Humboldt but Ipayments as they are taking the risk on those accounts and have switched from Humboldt to Chase (which does not accpet 5967 merchants). If you are a larger established merchant (over 100k per month), we can set you up directly at Humboldt. Or, if you are a smaller merchant, we have other banks for you.
