    If someone was using your server to host galleries without your permission...

    ...what would you do? Obviously I can't just pull them because I wouldn't want to be blacklisted. The BW (now approaching 20GB) isn't the issue, it's the principal. The funny thing is, if she had asked, I would have said go for it.

    Appropriate retaliation?

              yes, replacing all the codes would be cool... the scripts will pull most... you'll get a few signups maybe... but what I want to know is how did this come about in the first place? thats really what will determine the reaction...

                      Under what conditions does she have access to your server? Maybe she thought hosting galleries was ok. Just ask her and if you don't like it, tell her to stop.

                              She had access to the server to host my galleries, for a submission service. I've e-mailed her, but she's MIA.

                              It wouldn't even be worth the effort to change out the codes, and I'm sure if she made a stink about it that might piss of a sponsor too. Not worth it for a couple sales a day .

                                  hmmm, maybe you should change your server password? change those link codes.. i think there' s an editpad version for linux. Lets you do a find and replace on multiple files at once... works wonders.
