    Acacia - a classic prisoner's dilemma

    The Acacia stuff is actually a surprisingly accurate large scale real life version of the prisoner's dilemma, complete with people playing black (signing the contract), people playing white (fighting acacia), people using the TFT strategy (boycotting companies that sign the contract), etc.

    I think I'm gonna start taking notes here, this has the makings of a great case study

          I'm seriously considering doing a study of webmasters' reactions to the Acacia situation though. Only thing I'm not quite sure of is if they'll answer surveys truthfully.

                              Some have.. almost symptomatic of the situation where a hostage finds their captives to be their friends.... (ie. companies that have settled are now in open dialogue with Acacia, and may end up ADMIRING their business model and seek to emulate it).

                                      No, she's your old girlfriend that you keep going back to inbetween relationships, and later find out that she had a baby, and she claims you're the daddy, and you need to pay a "baby license".
