Airports getting worse: My cousin was strip/cavity searched for no reason.

This is really sick and I don't think I will ever fly again to support this fucking industry. My cousin is a very pretty woman, she has two kids and they strip searched/violated her and didn't give any reason why. Just imagine that happening to your mom or your sister or something... It's just WRONG.

I'm told it's going to get even more crazy -- soon when you go through the metal detectors they will also do a background check on you -- your financial history, previous trouble with the law, etc... then a red, yellow or green light will flash (you don't get any explanation as to why you were yellow or red)

I had to go threw that once.. had to show down to my boxers actually... I was just taken aside... a random search.

I didnt enjoy it but I am glad they are taking measures to check for everyone's security. I think thats just the way it is going to be in the future.. until they are able to afford the new walk-threw x-rays.

The only thing in our favor is information overload. The NSA has already publicly stated on record they have so much intel coming into their computers now they can't keep up with it on a time effective basis. FBI's database systems are having problems getting up to an updated network. IRS is in the same position also, backlogged beyond belief with all the vast number of transactional, income, interest, etc. forms being collected form banks, credit card, and other financial services companies.

Do not submit to these immoral and illegal demands. Refuse unlawful searches and ask to speak with your/an attorney if detained.

Your passive acceptance of crap like this allows the water temperature to slowly rise while you don't realize it nears boiling.

Well they should catch up eventually... CPU/Data storage advancements will keep up with the increase in the amount of data/population growth -- but sure there's other issues like fraudulent records, programmer/user errors in the records, search/identity mismatching...

As for not flying -- that's what I'll try to do but if someone in your family is suddenly ill in another state you really have no choice...

The Fly, they at least had a woman strip search her, right...? I think they're supposed to do same sex searches, just like the night clubs normally have to do.

I also had an idea to make air port security porn. Show sorority sluts getting handcuffed and then taken in the back room then searched.

That aside, if they are doing strip searching now, that shit is just plain evil. Air port security people are normally the same type of people in just about every other security job... redneck bottom of the barrel fuck wits. That power their job gives them is ALL they got, so they will sure as fuck abuse it. All the while they'll feel as if they're doing good deeds and "protecting us." I'd rather have NOOO security what so ever at the air port and have to face the small chance that a terrorist will fuck up the entire flight than deal with those sick air port fucks.

Most of the 7 million illegal workers in the US use bogus SS numbers that are randomly selected by the guys creating the forged cards. That causes enormous matching problems. Then you have the identity thieves screwing up the databases. Then you have regular folks trying to defeat the system with bogus info.

Add it all up and it creates errors and inaccuracies that propogate themselves into further chaos in the databases.

Its a recipe for disaster with all this info they are collecting. There aren't enough people to analyze it anyway.

From a pilots point of view i couldn't agree more that airport security should be stronger but what you are saying is just wrong and shouldn't have happened.
After september 11 it was clear that something should change so they started with changing some rules.
The biggest change would be that the cockpit has to be kept "clean"..... meaning cockpit door should be kept closed on and above 10,000 feet. Pretty stupid rule, door closed or not, if you want to get in, you CAN get in, even with bullet proof doors. If you want to get the bird down, you CAN get it down, even with bullet proof doors.
Security at airports was tightened alot. Pretty hypocrit if you ask me, i'll give you a small example:

We do a Brussels Intl to Lome (Africa). You have the very tight security at Brussels and then you take-off to Lome. You arrive at Lome airport and everyone can do pretty much what he wants to do. Passengers walking accross the field without guards, people getting on and off the field without anybody asking any questions, etc...
The inbound crew (we) sign the aircraft over to the outbound crew who takes it back to Brussels full pax (with those passengers who could do pretty much what they wanted when they boarded at Lome).

What does this tell you? To me it's all a big media thing, just the same as alot of airlines used september 11 as an excuse to fire people and not get any fingers pointed because they where actually making losses years before september 11. I was one of those victims, i got my notice that i had to go due to passengers not flying anymore after september 11........ well, before september 11 we had full pax and after september 11 we still had full pax. Easy to lay people off after september 11 and not get a finger pointed for bad management.
The airline industry has been going down for years and they are not doing much to get it back up again...... as we can see from your example.
