                          Our system is designed to save time by generating thumbnail templates linked to hosted galleries automatically. Once you sign up for Remotethumbs you will have the capability of choosing sponsors from our list, configuring the size,amount and niches of thumbs you want on your template. Then you configure the downloadable scripts and settings for your server so that our system can keep updating thumbs regularly on the schedule you choose.

                                                                  simple we skim 5% of traffic meaning 5% of clicks to galleries pulls up galleries with our refcode in it. we dont redirect to other sites we give the surfer what they are looking for.

                                                                  small price to pay for a lot of time saved.

                                                                                                  The remote server is not wide open. Its a cgi-script on your server which need to write to a certain directory which has to be 777, just because most apache servers run as nobody and can't do jack shit on the filesystem.

                                                                                                  Second you have to put a password in our interface which is generated on the script you have to upload. These passwords have to match.

                                                                                                  You can rename the script to any name you want. name it ajskhjasASDASasdjkashdka893489273myass.cgi and a hacker will have a hard time finding it.

                                                                                                  The script is a readable perl script, feel free to analyze it and see for yourself we dont have any intentions of cheating on our clients.

                                                                                                                                      here is a test page I'm working on.. still needs finished up but seems to work pretty good. Things I'd like to see added to make it a little more complete.

                                                                                                                                      maybe a one or two day's of archives. Being most TGP's are set up with an archive section

                                                                                                                                      Some of the thumbs don't look that great (ie you can tell they were cropped by a program and not by hand) but I'm sure they are working on that.

                                                                                                                                      over all I think it will be a nice program, I don't think it's anything I would use on a large site. But it will make setting smaller sites pretty easy and cheap.
