    ok, so $10 per month sites are already almost 1 year old...so do they retain better ?

    When they were introduced by adult.com and then by other companies, many webmasters were shocked. Now the $10 per month sites are still here, but on the other hand, they haven't caused a massive exodus from the previous billing model ( cheap trial / expensive monthy membership ) preffered by most big sponsor programs.

    It would be interesting to hear if they really retaing far better, since this was apparently the main idea behind them.

    Anyone knows

          I like the idea of $10 or less. I would even go down to $7.95

          all the little services I have on the internet are $9.95 or less

                  It would only make sense that the retention rate was higher, but I'd like to see some hard numbers so I can work it out for myself and decide which program I want to stick with.

                              I agree.

                              Once they buy $10 compared to 24.95 wouldn't really matter in terms of money earned from retention. That is if they get what they're paying for. People want porn and will pay a high price for it.

                                                          but!!! -> members would have to retain 3-4x longer compared to $39.99 sites, to make the same amount of money... and I doubt that's the case...
