PHP is the best web scripting language out there. Most PHP script kiddies would diss perl, but the reason PHP is so great is because the syntax is similair to both perl and c... and it has the web scripting features of perl and the stability of c making it the best for the web...

PHP > asp.net

Hey man, you tell me the memory management php reserves? None. The only problem with C is the memory allocation, and as far as I can see, the webserver allocates the apropriate ammount making it much easier and secure.

So, yes PHP is much more secure with C not having to allocate the memory to it. Hey, look at php.net - see why they reccomend using the asapi modules, hmm? :P
