So far, only AOL and Amazon. I think Gammacash (or moneytree? I couldn't be sure, because I quit them both already) is another one, but I am not sure. I mean their pay per click program. I did a test by clicking on that banner myself on three different locations, but they totally recorded 2 on that day!!!

DTI is almost the best I know so far. They paid 75 just to sign up.

I may be wrong here, but by my math:
15%-10%=5%

I don't sell for Amazon so I don't know but to me the math add's up. If you sold it at full price you should have gotten 15%.

Thank you for the math, but Amzon's rule is: 15% referel only apply to items discounted 10%-30%. At first I was confused, why must discounted? Then I found out that Amazon "discount" almost everything at least 10%. That's another lie of Amazon, which nobody complained yet. So their rule is not give 15% to anything they "discount" more than 30%.

Anybody who really dealed with Amazon? Please do share with me your experience. Here is my post at Amazon's BBS, they still didn't delete it yet. :-)



I am new to being associate of Amazon, although I have been affiliates for other sponsors before. I found some of them are liars, while some are very reliable.

I had no doubt about Amazon when I first joined, and placed a lot of direct linked items on my site, together with nice reviews targeted to my viewers, hoping to earn 15% instead of 5%. Then I asked a friend to do a test purchase from one of the DIRECT links and specially told him to click through that link and buy immediately, don't go anywhere else in Amazon. He did. And unfortunately, I found there is only 5% in my credit. That item is only discounted 10%.

I wrote to Amazon, demanding evidence of why they caterigorized this purchase as indirect, together with a confirmation email from my friend, who is a owner of a computer software company.

I am still waiting Amazon's 3rd response (they didn't give anything in the two responding emails), of what happened. It's not about money. I just want to see how they get out of this. I am sure they should have certain tracking software to determine where a surfer go, so they should be able to give me a record of where my friend went between the time he clicked my link and the purchase; otherwise, their "direct" vs. "indiret" is a total hoax and I am going to expose them all over the web and certain authorities.

I was using Amazon a lot infact i was one of there top 3 affliates but they really suck. There aree lots of other online specialist book stores out there that pay more usually 10-20% just search around.
I still use Amazon as they come in handy for terms where you can find no other sponsors with over 2 million products they have a book for every keyword which can be targeted nicely.
