Regular "Joes" Get busted by Pretty Cop/Whore.

Here in Miami, the local news stations have started showing the names and pictures of "Johns" that have been arrested for soliciting prostitution. They are cought by female cops pretending to be hookers. These poor guys that just couldn't get any, or just wanted a blowjob, now lose their jobs, wives, and the police mug shots they show make them look like rapist and murderers.
I think it's a bit too much, deterrent or not. It's enough spending 40 hours in the Metro Dade jail and all the associated cost. The humiliation factor is going overboard.

Probably because of the negative influence of such acts such as pimps, drug use, etc.

But in any case this punishment is ridiculous because it won't stop prostitution, it might make a guy think twice, but it does nothing about the supply. Sex is sex, there will always be a demand for it, but if the cops actually went with as much effort after the suppliers they could make a serious dent in prostitution if they were so inclined.

Thanks, that's the word I was look for, "entrapment".

If the government cannot regulate what she does with her body in matters of abortion, how can they justify regulating what she does with her body in matters of sex.

I'm totally in favor of legalizing prostitution. That way you could employ health standards and have it properly regulated and taxed.

But street prostitution is risky business. If a single guy wants to do it and take his chances I don't have a problem with it. But I think it really sucks when a married guy goes and fucks a filty street whore and then goes home to have sex with his wife and she doesn't have a clue where his dick just was.
