WTF is wrong with FreeHostEmpire...

I had some gals on this free host: http://www.freehostempire.com/ and it seems to be down for 3 days already!! WTF is wrong with them??

Does anybody have their support e-mail or ICQ?? Or even better, do you own/work there and could fix this problem ASAP!! I'm loosing losts of traffic!!

I'm just a newbie.

Well...after a juicy bit of info from Dennis, it turns out I'm out of line and owe Dennis and the EnvisioNext team an apology. Turns out that while they were associated with Nick and LikeWhoa, they were indeed fucked over like a lot of us. I'm a firm believer of "guilt by association", but an assumption like this isn't always fair. Dennis filled me in on their story and the small ass fucking I got from LikeWhoa was nothing compared to what happened to them.

I apologize to Dennis and his crew and hope that the next time I'm down in the city he'll let me buy him a drink or two.

Fuck freehostempire they offer to host your domain and as soon as its getting 20k+ a day they redirect ALL traffic to a dialer.
They turned my site that was worth a few k$ into worthless crap, these people are pure SCUM, the worst cheating mothafucking freehost I have ever used

Your site was worth a few thousand dollars and you were still on a freehost? Wouldn't it have been wise to move it to regular paid hosting like a real webmaster?

Bandwidth is so cheap these days I can't think of any time that free hosts would be the best solution. If it's worth spending your time on, isn't it worth a real host?

Like many webmasters I have paid hosting and several domains that are hosted on freehosts, we all know the score with freehosts and most of the time its an acceptable trade off however redirecting the entire domain to a German dialer is just taking the piss.

They have done this to more than one domain but only one I was particularly bothered about, my advice to anyone is STAY WELL CLEAR OF THEM, there are plenty of other good freehosts out there who won't cheat you like they do.
