Run a Thumb TGP? same thing happening?

    People noticed spidering activity?

Ive been working on a thumb tgp mainly just today and yesterday. Got the hosted galleries up which I thumb by hand. The tonight i was surfing and noticed sites with exactly the same thumbs and hosted galleries

thing is my thunbs done by hand, so seeing thumbs identical even by 1 pixel is highly unlikely unless there spidering as my site not even launched properly.

anyone else seen this type thing?

i just think its freaky as i havnt even gave out my url.

Yes. One of my affiliates runs a large TGP, and I noticed that traffic with his refid was coming from some odd URLs. It turned out that they were sites that ripped off his thumbs and galleries. The refid was preserved so I presume the owners are either idiots, or are using it for pumping TGP traffic - they're hosted galleries so they could have just signed up themselves if they wanted the $...

One deterrent is to watermark your thumbs with your URL, but the text may not always be sharp because of the jpeg compression. It won't stop the fully automated sites either.

I've seen many brazilian TGPs with the thumbs copied from other sites, but they keep the hosted gallery affiliate IDs.
