The thread asking how much sigs made people had me wondering... How many now (or always have) surf the board with sigs switched off? Myself - only made the change recently because the daft noises were getting really annoying. Before then I did use to click sometimes if the sig was interesting enough.

However - as I say the noises mean they can stay off for me until (if?) the current fad dies. Wondering though how many others have done the same.

are you talking about sigs with sound that only is heard on a mouseover? Easy to avoid.
Not sure why a board would allow sound anyway, a TGP won't even allow a talking ad . . . . however, sigs on for me. I like to know who the idiots are promoting so I can avoid them.Comment

On. I realize with all the sig auctions and all lately that people's sigs say less about them on average than they might. I pulled the sound card out of the machine I use to surf, so the noise makes no difference to me.Comment
