Im on the fence here. First their site is slow as shit, graphics suck and generally looks kinda mid 90's ish.
Problem is that yes FTV uses the magazine style look, so does this site. Kinda fucked up, but at same time I had seriously thought about using a magazine style cover myself well before I even seen a FTV site, or any of the various mags (mostly email sponsors) that are currently out there.
So I am not sure if FTV's format is even original, since afterall they are copying a magazine format which in itself is using a pre-existing idea. Knowing that I thought of the same thing myself before I knew others were doing it, just leads me to believe that there are very few if any unique ideas.
FTV is about quality content, fucking great pictures, ect. I think it has nothing to do with their design. What the fuck do I know anyhow. I mean first horizontal tours, then verticle long tours, fpa's, shit you name it, someone did it first and the rest of us copied. It is a standard magazine look, is all I can say.Comment

The quality compared to FTV was laughable at best so I did not look at many of the little details. So wasnt trying to miss the fact you said images, though I am still a little unclear on what you mean, if it is not the magazine look to them.
