question about rappers / rap videos...

Does anyone aside from rappers really give a fuck about the wheels on their cars, and fat asses?

Every time I land on MTV, there's some ignorant fucker that I can barely understand (between the bleeps and totally made up words) mumbling some bullshit while pointing at his wheels, and there's always a bunch of chicks with insanely fat asses jiggling in the background..

I don't get it, and I spent a large portion of my childhood growing up in what can only be described as "da hood".

i dunno man. i dont listen to much of it. but when i do i hear a lot of "****** this" and "****** that" and a lot of "fuck that bitch"... i think it hurts their "cause".

Yeah, but every time someone tries to pass off some "real rap" on me, it usually sucks worse than what's on MTV.

Exception: someone told me to listen to Black Eyed Peas, and I loved it.

Well, I like a lot of different kinds of music, including most rap. I don't know so much about rappin for the wheels on my car, but I love big butt girls, so I don't mind any song like that.

mainstream rap kills me.. especially 50 cent, he had a strong following on mixtapes before he sold out and went mainstream.. he even turned on a member of his group, G Unit.. this dude named Bangem Smurf, was an 'enforcer' for G Unit, did some shootings and shit for them.. anyway Smurf was in jail , bail was set for $75g's and he called 50 Cent to bail him out, and 50 Cent said it aint his problem and left him there.. money changes ya

now i pretty much listen to nyc mixtape stuff (d block, diplomats, streetsweepers tapes) & old hiphop ish

theres a cool song by Dead Prez called "Radio Frequency" that pretty much goes off on the whole Radio scene, i doubt they'll ever be on mainstream radio now lol
